The Phoenix Element Campaign on Indiegogo

I’ve started a campaign to help raise money for Phoenix Element. Becoming a writer for a living is a tough thing to accomplish. Many sites that promote and review books charge a fee. My publisher is an independent one and if I want extra copies of my own book, I have to order them. This is a world where to make money you need money. Wouldn’t it be nice to live within the Star Trek universe? But I’m getting off point.

Here is the point:

The money is going to promote the first book in this series, Phoenix Element Normality Twisted. This book has been available since December 5th of 2013 and published by an independent publisher called Black Rose Writing. Since I am not with a big name publisher, I only get one copy of my book. In order to get the word out, I want to be able to give away signed copies, have book signings and attend local book fairs. I need to promote Phoenix Element to make it a success. I’ve already done two interviews (with a third in February) and during my free time I get the word out via Twitter, Facebook and other social media outlets. This is why I need help. I work a full time job to cover my bills. I do not have much room to help fund promoting my book. I would use the money to purchase a bulk amount of my first book, Normality Twisted. I would also be able to afford websites that work to market new authors and their books.

And I would like to take the time out to thank everyone for their help and support on this journey. It isn’t even close to being over.
