My Top Five Books Read in 2015

Forty books read during 2015 but here are five books that stood out to me the most!

What are some of your favorite books that you read in 2015? Be sure to share them in the comments below.

  1. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline – Amazing book for the geek and gamer at heart. It is one of those books that made me think, “why didn’t I write this?”
  2. Fire Sea (Death Gate Cycle #3) by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman – Loved this book! The story really starts taking off with the third book in the Death Gate Cycle series. Great interactions with Haplo and Alfred. There were scenes that had you at the edge of your seat.
  3. The War of the Lance (Dragonlance Tales II)  by Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, Richard A. Knaak, and Michael Williams et al – A fun collection of short stories set in the world of Dragonlance. My favorite stories were the ones featuring Tasslehoff and another with Raistlin.
  4. Exile: The Legend of Drizzt II by R.A. Salvatore – Great adversaries, characters, and story. This book begins to shape what kinds of person Drizzt will be.
  5. The Icewind Dale Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore – Classic tale of adventure and the bonding of companions.
