Top Five Books Read in 2016

I’m counting down the top five books that I read in 2016. Those read might not have been released in 2016. On with the countdown!

5. Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Enjoyed the movie and the book is worth a read as well. It expands on what the movie wasn’t able to do.

4. The Eye-Dancers –  This book will have you feeling like a middle schooler all over again…in a good way. Filled with adventure and the supernatural.

3. Red vs Blue: The Ultimate Fan Guide – I’ve been a fan of Red vs Blue and Halo (video game) for several years. This book does a great fan service.

2. Dragon’s Curse – A fun, short read about a dragon and the woman who befriends him. Loved the interactions that the two main characters have with each other.

And for the #1 book that I enjoyed in 2016 goes to…

1.  Nyssa Glass and the House of Mirrors – The first Nyssa Glass book remains my favorite. Just something about it stands out. Perhaps it is the simple beginnings of a great steampunk book series that makes this installment my favorite. Great characters, banter, and overall story.
